Because look at the Nissan Leaf Nismo RC.

And then look at the Toyota Prius GT300.

Now tell me the Toyota Mirai cannot be saved. Or anyone of its kind, for that matter. All it needs is a Toyota F1-inspired livery, lesser doors, and BAM!
